1. Rules
1.1 The event will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
1.2 The Swedish 606 Class Rules will apply.
1.4 All boats shall in accordance with ISAF Regulation 20 display advertising provided by the
event organizer if applicable. The advertising shall, if applicable, be carried on both sides of
the hull.
2. Eligibility Requirements
2.1 To be entitled to participate in “svenska riksidrottsförbundets” championships, each
competitor must be a member of a club which is affiliated to their national authority (SSF) or
by an organization affiliated to the Authority under ISAF Regulation 19 and to obtain the title
Swedish Champion (SM), the competitor must be Swedish citizen or has resided in Sweden
for at least six months the past twelve months before the competition starts.
2.2 Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third party liability insurance.
2.3 Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to
Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal
injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
2.4 All crew members on Swedish boats are required to be members of the “Svenska 606‐
förbundet”
3. Entries
3.1 Advance entry shall be made no later than 2010‐06‐30 via the Swedish 606 federations
web site www.606‐forbundet.se

3.2 The advance entry shall include the following: Skipper’s full name, mobile phone number
and e‐mail address, boat no, crew 1, crew 2 (if applicable) and club.
3.3 The entry fee is SEK 800:‐ and payment shall be made to Karlshamns Segelsällskap
Bankgiro 306‐8699 or Bank account 8153‐9, 3 009 134‐2, IBANnr. SE83 8000 0815 3900 3009

The fee shall be registered on the account not later than 2010‐06‐30.
For entries after 2010‐06‐30 the entry fee is SEK 1.200.‐
Please state skipper’s name and boat no in connection to the payment.
4. Registration and Measurement
4.1 Registration shall be made at the race office not later than 2010‐08‐12, 21:00 hours.
4.2 Measurement certificate shall be presented prior to racing.
4.3 All sails must be measured and ready before arrival.
Spot checks re measurement and safety regulation will be made subsequent to each day’s
races.
5. Sailing Instructions
5.1 The sailing instructions will be handed out upon completion of the registration.
6. Time Schedule

The 606 Federation’s Annual Meeting will be held on Friday during the time for Protest
Hearings. Refreshments will be served.

7. Racing Area

7.1 The location of the racing area will be south of and close to the Svanevik Yacht harbor in
Karlshamn.
8. The course
8.1 A windward‐leeward course will be sailed.
9. Protests and penalty systems
9.1 RRS Appendix P will apply (yellow flag).
10. Scoring
10.1 The low point scoring system of RRS Appendix A will apply, modified so that when three
or fewer races have been completed; a boat’s series score will be the total of her race
scores.
10.2 3 races are required to be completed to constitute a championship.
11. Prizes
11.1 A Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the winner.
11.2 Series prizes will be awarded, totaling one for each fifth of the number of participating
boats.
11.3 Daily prizes will be awarded to the skipper and crew finishing first in each race.
11.4 Price to best newcomer.
